Whats the difference?

Can anybody tell me the difference between the early 04 turbo and the late 04 turbo?

To my knowledge there is no such thing as an early or late 04 turbo.

You may be thinking about the very early built 04 trucks having the 03 turbos in it.

The early-build '04 turbos are essentially an '03 model year turbo which uses a different mounting than late-build '04.
