Possible turbo and injector problems???
I have a 2003 6.0, it was acting like it was missing for a while now but it was only doing it when it was cold, once it warmed up it was fine, but yesterday it was doing it about every other shift and it wouldn't hold a boost charge. Now a new problem today, it's still feeling like it's missing but when the I open it up once it hits around 2000 rpms then boost goes from 23 psi to 35 psi and I don't accelerate and it feels like I'm hitting the rev limiter but it's only at 2000 rpm... I called Saint Joe Diesel and Tony one of the ford techs think it might be the VGT vains on the turbo, and he said he doesn't really know y it feels like it's missing. And the oil is really dirty but it always been that way am I always change it at 5000 miles. I did put it back to stock tune thinking that was it but that made no difference, I'm going that change the fuel filters tonight to see it that makes a difference but idk... Someone please help me

there is lots of people with the same problem in the forum. I am one of them and this is the first time i am typing in here. i have read many inputs from people and i will have to say there is no absolute answer. I was hoping to find it so that i don't waste time and money. the most common fix everyone seems to have is the dirty or sticky turbo vanes and possibly the ficm contact resolder. I already cleaned my EGR valve and it did fix my problem for about 3 weeks. now it is back and just as bad!.. unfortunately i don't have any fancy after market gauges so I can't tell is my boost is good or my oil temps, pressures or anything are normal. i printed up a bunch of stuff and hopefully i will be able to check and repair my problem, in the order of most obvious: turbo, ficm, egr probably going to do a delete! not sure if I want to go with the DIY route. can someone tell me if i am going in the right direction?
