Fuel Filter

I went to take the secondary fuel filter off and this is what happened any suggestions on how to get this off now

that would be my guess too , i have seen alot of these caps crack using half inch drive ratchet to try and loosen , better to use socket on the outside,good luck

Didn't think of that, but using the proper size socket on the outer edge. You could tap it on for a snug fit...

Yes it busted off I new I should have not been so lazy and I should have just used the socket I will try all of this tommorrow night and I will keep everyone posted thanks everyone for the suggestions in the mean time where should I get a new cap stealership or try like auto zone or discount auto parts?

well I finally got around to ordering the cap at the stealership, I could not find one anywhere else (discount auto parts, napa, auto zone) they want $55 for the measly cap I guess I will use the proper socket next time I have not tryed getting it off yet I will wait until I get the new cap. Also I found that fuel filter where is the big fuel filter
