6.0L oil looks green?

So I notice that my oil looks to have a greenish tint to it. I am about so for oil change but I have seen it this color before. Coolant level fine and oil smells fine....is it just dirty or what? I should prolly send in for oil analysis. Let me know what your thoughts are.

I've seen oil that looks like that, too... some brands vary in color. What kind of oil is it?

Mine looked the same way before I switched to Motorcraft to save a few bucks. I was like, what the heck? It must be a Rotella thing.

Blackstone labs is a good place to get an oil analysis. The VW guys really like them.

some oil brands are tinted differant than others. I highly recommend switching to motorcraft 10w30 cj-4 rated diesel motor oil. your in pittsburg so you will notice a huge differance in cold starts and overall performance. we run this oil in every diesel oil change we do at my dealer, summer or winter. and it is fairly priced. a dealer or any place that sells motorcraft should stock it or be able to order it for you.
