03 Ford Excursion Dies while cruising and now no start

Hey Guys,

To make the long story short, I have 03 Excursion, 6.0, with 160,000 miles, and couple weeks ago I had all 8 injectors replaced at ford, along with mechanical fuel pump and cam position sensor, all to the tune of $3600! Anyways, today, i was cruising down the highway, and when i wanted to speed up, nothing happened, actually i was pressing gas pedal down, and truck was just slowing down, like i just took off my foot from the gas pedal. I came to the complete stop, and truck just shut down on me. I tried to start it back, it just cranks but no start. No check engine light either. I had it towed back to the dealer that did all the previous repairs.

What do you guys think it could be? I just want to make sure its not something that they messed up while replacing my injectors and fuel pump, or forgot to connect something?

I just want to be ready for their phone call tomorrow and their lovely story if ya know what i mean

Any help is greatly appreciated!!!!!!!

No answers here, but I just had something similar happen. I'm interested to see what the resolution is.

Lucky you!

You guys dont think that they could have done something incorrectly while they were replacing my injectors? Damage some tubes or what not?

Problem was HPOP .... $1900 bux, and hopefully my truck should be done tomorrow!

You guys think this HPOP should hold up longer than original one?
