stumbles
So I seem to have picked up a misfire the last couple days. Here's the deal, starts and idles fine, let it warm up a few minutes and off I go. About a mile and a half from home there's a light, if I catch that light she'll stumble while sitting there not moving and in gear. Coolant temp is about 110 by now. Once I leave that light everything seems fine. Anyone have any ideas?

you need to have a scan tool hooked up and watch power balance while this "stumble" is happening. this will allow you to pinpoint which cylinder if any are dropping out on you. you could also check and see if any codes are present in the pcm to start.

I scanned it last week, the only code was exhaust back pressure. I'm going down to bike week as soon as I get back I'll hook it back up and watch the power balance. If I find anything exciting I'll hunt you down and beg for more advice.
Thanks for the help. |
