when was the last coolant change?

Head gaskets have probably failed due to failed head bolts. The factory torque to yield bolts dont last long typically. How many miles do you have on your truck? Ccould also be a failed oil cooler.

I would think it is headgaskets and maybe an oil cooler. Mine did the same, see if you can get your dealer to install studs while they're in there

IF you can't do it at the dealer under warranty, take it to Power Stroke Magic and they will take care of you. They are out 290 off fairbanks.

have a dealer who is going to install studs under warranty also if thats what it turns out to be. if the oil coiler is bad will have that upgraded as well most likely. |

picked up truck yesterday from powerstroke magic, they found they couldn't replicate it, but could tell it had been. had no tune on truck since it was going to the dealership next.
well pick it up drive to dealership. on the way there i was making sure to be a little hard on it. get to the dealership, talking to the service guy explaining everything, pop the hood and that thing had puked about 3 times as much as in the photo's. i had cleaned the bottle off before it went to powerstroke magic, forgot to check it before i left to go to the dealership tho. now waiting to hear back from the dealer, hopefully get the ok to order the studs today. |

Cool deal. Mine was the white 250 in the back with the cab off If the dealer won't do it, i'd take it back to them and have them put the studs in and check everything.mine is out of warranty so it was an easy choice for me, not for my pocket book though.. this is the 3rd time so it's being done right this time. and i had studs already and it still blew.....
