engine issues, any advice would be great

hello, buddy of mine has a 05 6 litre and i was wondering if there was any suggestions on to what the issue is, ok here goes; at higher rpms there is a miss in the engine, and it takes alot of cranks to start the engine, even when plugged in. (its winter here right now) and when it does start it farts white and blue and a puff of black here and there. an injector code is being thrown and some sort of cylinder code.(he wont give me a straight answer to what codes they are haha) we cleaned the egr valve 2 weeks ago, has 4 inch exhaust and was recently straight piped and has a bullydog triple dog. i dont run a 6 litre so i figured id throw it up here and ask the ones who know, buddy figures the solution to everything is a ecm reflash but to me it sounds like alot more than that. any help would be greatly appreciated

If the cylinder contribution/balance and injector circuit codes flagged are for the same cylinder, it's likely the culprit injector is faulty. Without actually seeing it though, that would be a shot in the dark.

i was thinking it could be an injector, but like i said powerstrokes and there tendancies are new to me haha.
