5 mpg???? HELP ME PLEASE!!!!

I have a 2003 f250 with a 6.0 and an automatic. I have an intake and exhaust installed. The problem is i get about 5-8mpg after i removed the chip i had on it. The truck was stalling and hesitating with the chip in and after i took it out it runs better but my mpg is down. With the ship in i got in the teens for milage even with the sputtering. I have no clue what is wrong and ford gave it back to me like this. They are the reason that i know the chip is what was making it sputter and die. I towed it to them and they removed the chip, so i cant put it back in. ANY HELP IS MUCH NEEDED. THANKS

When was the last time the fuel filter was changed? Do you still have a cat in your exhuast?

I bet you're leaking diesel to be getting that bad of mileage... I've heard of 8mpg WHILE TOWING A HUGE TRAILER... but never unloaded.

the thing is that i was getting mid teens until the pulled the chip. The pulled the chip only and i have done nothing else to it. They pulled it about a week ago and i have filled it up twice with the same results. The cat is removed its 4in from turbo back.
