Headgaskets

Hey guys I have a 06 6.0L and recently had been noticing a severe drop in coolant and had been hearing the "tea kettle whistle" in my truck. I took it to my dealer and they said my head gaskets were blown but thank heaven covered under warranty. I have 93,000 miles on my truck and I want to keep the miles going what are the chances of blowing head gaskets again???? Is it common for them to blow twice? Is there a chance that the SCT would have anything to do with them blowing??? Appreciate any help on this matter!!!

see if your dealer will install headstudswhile they are at it. There is no telling why or how they blew.

If it's not studded there is a better chance they will blow out again in the future. Also did they check the heads for warp or cracks while they had them off? If not, and the heads were out of spec you will most likely have it happen again.
