Vac Leak??

At idle sometimes i get a really loud high pitched whistle...quite annoying as soon as i give it a little gas and it sees more then say 5-8psi or 2k rpms it goes away...A friend of mine had suggested maybe a seal around the turbo has gone bad...said the Fords are bad about that. I am new to the diesel deal..and well the ford deal lol...Give me a gas chevy motor and im set lol

Check the air inlet pipeing on the drivers side for cracks or loose hoses
