2004 to 2006 motor swap

I have a 2004 f450 I had to get a new long block, so I found a 06 motor it came with everything, installed it and now they say its not going to work. Has anyone swapped out an 04 for an 06 motor.

Unless you want to go about modifying the wiring harness, it will not work. Keep in mind the ICP sensor is on the HUEI pump on the '03-'04's, but it on the pass. side valve cover in the '06. That alone will cause issues.
