So my winter time lope is back, guess its time to trouble shoot the glow plug system. All is well if I leave it plugged ing for a couple hours. Or could something else be wrong Check out the vid.

Was 48* truck parked about 15 hours.

Was 35* truck parked about 15 hours.

almost sounds like a couple injectors sticking when they are cold. or possibly glow plugs are bad.

Lask year all new glow plugs, and right bank of injectors replaced, and new hpop. (not all at the same time) I do have a slight miss at idle but if I flash back to stock it goes away.

mine is not that bad.. but it's getting there.... my brothers was doing that and he replaced the batteries and that solved it for the time being.... maybe get your batteries checked? im subscribed for other suggestions as well.... i wouldn't think its the glow plugs if they were replaced last year....

My dad had the same thing happen to his truck ('04 6.0 86k miles) and he changed the oil and put a FS-2500 oil filtration kit on his truck and it solved his problem. The oil needs to be clean of particulates to fire the injectors properly. Hope this helps you.

Oil only has about 1k on it, and the by pass is on my wish list. Truck has 136,XXX on the clock.

It sounds to me like a updated dealer flash is in order. I had the same exact problem and took it and had the computer programming updated and it fires up instantly now. It recently died due to injectors and HPOP but before that it was cranking like a champ. I will say that it was having a warm start up problem but I think that was due to low HPOP pressure.
