Blown Motor

That just about says it all. I am the proud owner of a scrap F-550 xl cab and chassis. The truck ran fine one day then something let go in the top of the engine and went thru the low pressure oil pump and destroyed it along with cylinder #4 and #6. Anyway it is not worth fixing. This sucks!!! These things are frustrating to say the least. What a head ache these are.

I would put a new motor in this thing but 17,000.00 is a little pricey to say the least. 8 - 10 maybe. I think it might be cheaper to convert it to a cummins and not have the problems with these things.
