6.0 misses sometimes badly

Morning all lately my 04 f-350 w/6.0 runs so bad when you first crank it up that setting in the truck it feels worse that our 428 with a cam in it. I hear alot about injectors going out is the begining of the downhill spirial? Any and all help appreciated, Thanks.

switch to 5w40w syn rotella and get some hot shot secret,my 6.0 was doing the same thing ,and the oil fixed my rough starts immediately.the hot shotts cleans the inj,comp fix for 150 dollers,the dealler wanted to put new inj for 3000.good luck !

my 04 got worse and worse when starting it and couldnt even drive it for 15 minutes. really rumbled bad. Went and had the newest flash done last week and its all better. Amazing. i thought my injectors were bad but i guess not. The flash is for cold starts. Try it. Its about $100.00. I can take off now after a few minutes and it idles great at start up

I had the same problem. Even in the summer, cold starts were terrible, I got the reflash which helped alot. Now that its cold its starting hard again. There is a new product out called Rev-x. It is supposed to cure injector stiction(sp?) in 6.0s, reason for hard cold starts. It is similar to HSS mentioned above but Rev-x has worked for some when HSS did nothing. I ordered my Rev-x online and got it in yesterday. I will change my oil and add it this weekend and we'll see if it helps.
