FICM or IPC or DRIVER????????
I have a 03 f-350 with a rough idle. Had it checked today at a local shop and the read out said Injector Pressure Control module. I called the dealership and they kept calling it an Injector Driver. Im seeing FICM on here alot and I'm guessing that is a Fuel Injector Control Module? Are all these the same thing or different parts? As you can tell I'm new! Also can I get it flashed as a short term (2 months) fix? The truck runs fine 99% of the time. It also showed 2 miss fires, 1 on cylinder2 and 1 on cylinder 3. Any info will be greatly apprecitated!

Never heard of an injector driver, but the FICM and the ICP are two different things. The FICM controls each injector and tells it when to fire and for how long. The ICP measures the pressure from the High Pressure Oil Pump to ensure it is delivering the correct amount of oil pressure. If you are getting low ICP, it's either a clogged screen on the ICP, ICP is bad or HPOP is leaking off pressure. In the early 6.0L's the ICP's were a common failure point, so they were redesigned. A flash isn't likely to cure a misfiring engine.
