Could've blown the injector O-rings by cranking it with ether.

A simple test for the lift/supply pump is take the top off the fuel filter and with someone watching turn on the key for a few seconds. If the filter overflows the pump is working, by the way do not hold the key on for very long that pump puts out a fair amounnt of fuel you would be surprised how much. This will only tell you if it is pumping fuel not if it is the correct volume or pressure.

if the fuel bowl doesnt over flow and just raises half an inch after taking the filter off would that also mean a bad lift pump?
