Replacing HPOP... Need Advice!!!!

Hey guys,

My HPOP and IPR went out the other day and I was wondering if I should just replace them with stock or should is there performance versions of these. Ive heard a few people talk about different degree HPOPs and I was curious what kind of difference they make????

Any info would be much appreciated.

This is my first dumb question ,what is a HPOP ?

1997 F-350 CC Dually Power Hungry performance chip. DIY air intake ,4" Diamond Eye exhaust, Trans temp gauge,Pyrometer gauge 10,000 Lb. Warn Winch, 1 million candle power auxilary lights,black heavy diamond plate bumper/brushguard

I am not aware of any that are available from the aftermarket. If you are replacing the high pressure oil pump on a 2003 model year, make sure you replace not only the pump (3C3Z-9A543-AARM), but you replace the cover (3C3Z-9G805-AA) as well as the discharge tube (3C3Z-9T288-AA). Don't forget the ICP sensor (3C3Z-9F838-EA) and connector too (5C3Z-12224-A) if it hasn't already been done too, at one point. The pump cover comes with a new IPR valve installed already, and prices out at the same or LESS than the IPR valve by itself too. There is also a machined groove underside of it, to eliminate the problem with the discharge tube rubbing against it.

Unfortunately, on 2003 model years, you WILL need to remove the intake manifold entirely, due to the rear crossover, in order to access the pump. You remove the intake manifold with the EGR cooler attached to it on these model years.

Check out Dieselsite.com They are releasing and working on different options for the 6 oh, they are the ones that made the adrenaline and it rocks IMO, But they should very soon have it released for the 6oh too!

Its in beta testing right now on a few rigs, I talked to him the other day for my buddy about his 6oh, he said it will be out by janruary at the latest for public. It was supposed to be out earlier but they had some trouble finding trucks to use when they first designed it I was told anyways....I was just pointin him in that way to start savin lol

I love my pump, ive had no problems at all as well it really surprised me as to how much a difference it made with stock sticks. I cant wait for injectors lol
