Alternator Plug

So I replaced the batteries in my truck about 2 months ago with Duralast Gold Top batteries. I have really like the batteries and my truck starts up quickly every time.

A few days ago I was driving on the interstate and my truck completely died. The symptoms all pointed to an alternator. I went and got one and put it on and charged the batteries and it fired right up.

It ran good on Monday and then today the battery light kept flicking on and off. Wellll long story short I think the problem is the plug that hooks up to the top of the alternator is not clipping completely so the vibration of driving is shaking it loose.

Now my problem is where do I get a new plug? Any suggestions on how to secure that plug so it will not vibrate out?

What type truck ? Make/model/year. Try calling Ford dealer. We take any wireing harnesses we change out and cut off any good plugs leaveing a six inch pig tail and save them up just for these type situations. Junk yard even.
