Flexplate?

So I just got my 6.0 PSD about 2 weeks ago and now the problems begin. It has about 3k miles on a rebuilt engine by Bill Hewitt at powerstroke specialty. I was going up the road other night and truck just stopped pulling, made a wired almost grinding noise so we pulled off. I tried different gears with no luck so I shut it down. Went to restart it and starter just spun like it wasnt catching anything. Tow truck driver said it was fly wheel, so I got under the truck other day and check fly wheel through the inspection spot and seemed to be all in tact all the way around. So from what I am reading on here it sounds like it may be the flexplate what do yall think?

I will be calling Bill on monday and getting it fixed but just want to see what I have to look forward to, and what kind of repair bill if it is the flex plate.
