Unhappy what does these codes mean ?

I've got a 04 F-250 6.0 when I start it it sounds like it's running on 6 cylinders after it warms up it's better but it throws codes
P0261
P0267
270
273
276
279
282
hope some one can tell me what this means

It means your FICM is toast, and needs replaced before it leaves you stranded on the side of the road. 100%.

thats what I was afraid of !

I called about one today and it was $800.00 he said that was without the programming is there somewhere else to get one cheaper?

You can find used ones on the board, or check ebay. They can usually be had for $200-300'ish. You never know how long a used one is going to last though. Might last years or only months.

what about programming?

I'll still have to take it to Ford to have it flashed won't I ? will I need to take the truck or can I just take the FICM to have it done? have you got an idea how much to program it?

If you buy a used one it should work without having to take it in for a reflash. However you won't know what calibration is already on it when you buy it. You can always take it to Ford at your convenience and have it flashed to the latest revision for about $100 I think.
