hmm, it really isnt much of a high idle, i notice maybe a 200rpm difference, from 800-1000rpm, the dealer here told us to cut a stick and wedge it between the seat and petal to hold it at 1500rpm while idling, then they said they would "try" to rig up a high idle on a toggle, this was the first one they have done, so not sure how it will work....

The high idle is enough to virtually eliminate "wet stacking" due to prolonged idling... There are several threads about how to set it up.
The egr cooler is a poorly designed liquid to air heat exchanger, which operates exactly like your radiator, except in reverse, since you are trying to cool off your exhaust gas using the coolant. Unfortunately, the tubes are too small that the coolant flows through and they can't take the excessive amounts of heat generated from tuners. Add to that, when the oil cooler gets clogged with casting sand, it limits the amount of coolant flowing through the EGR cooler. All of these reasons cause them to fail. These failures could be eliminated by increasing the size of the cooling tubes in the EGR cooler, which would increase the cooling surface area and allow it to cool the exhaust gasses properly.
