2004 icp sensor????
my truck was built in 05/04 so is it in the rear by the turbo or the front or valve cover??????? i have it taken apart and a c a silver part with heat sheilding on it is that it?

If I am not mistaken it might be on the back of the D-side head.

If it's a May/04 build date, the ICP sensor will be on the passenger side valve cover.

What if any was the rear they were on the back of the D-side head?

yup you bought the wrong one, the sensor up on your passenger side valve cover with 3 wires is your icp. Early model 04's and 03's were the only ones with the sensor on the back of the motor. You can re-sell the one you just purchased, thats the great thing about ebay! i would look into replacing the pigtail going to the sensor also. You can pick one up prety cheap from international, the one from ford cost almost $90. I learned the hard way.
