6.0 turbo?????

Some times when Im just crusing down the street and mash the throttle, My truck will fly. Sometimes it just falls flat on it's face. Last weekend I pulled my air intake off and checked for Shaft play. Little to none, I tried to pull the EGR valve but I wouldn't come out...I don't have gauges to see what my turbo is pushing. So would it be stuck veins, Injector issue (engine runs smooth), EGR what!!!

*When my truck sits at an idle I can hear the turbo for a second then the whistling sound goes away, They it comes back.

its the EGR cycling just turn thr truck off let it sit for about 5 min. Then unplug the egr plug..it will throw a code but it takes care of it.Or get an SCT programmer w/custom tunes
