weird noise from behind dash maybe

between 55 and 56 it sounds like the turbo is squealing really loud cant tell just happened today truck is an 03 6.0 with 230,000 miles new studs egr blocked off do have a bad u joint but dont think that is making the noise sounds like its coming from the engine bay please help

You need to get a cheap engine stethascope or a long screw driver, dowel rod etc. Something that can transmit sound. Being carefull of moveing parts/belts etc, place the end against the turbo houseing and the other by your ear. You should hear a rythmic whine/growel etc as long as it is constant and even. If not then the bearing is going out
