high pressure oil pump $ 2100.00 installed

last week engine noise sounded like power steering pump then got on the
highway a few days ago puffed white smoke lost power and then dead
got checked out, only pumped out 400 psi but wanted 900 psi
where is this pump you may ask? the pump is located inside the engine
that means remove turbo, intake etc there was also a ford upgraded
pipe installed because they have had problems with cracking, all in all
the truck runs great now.shop rate at $75.00 hr pump $800.00 diagnostics
charge +++++++++$2100.00

if its a 7.3 is on the front of the motor i had my changed about a year ago cost $925.00 my pummp was 550.

ouch that sucks man, BTS changed mine out and did a complete EGR delete for 1200$...

Ive replaced 2 of those in the last 6 months, THEY SUCK! One was on a 03' and a 04'.
