Throwing codes....
Alright, my '06 is throwing a P0402 EGR excessive flow detected and a P0460 fuel level sensor circuit fault codes. I also noticed a fuel smell in the cab while at idle when the CEL came on. I pulled the EGR and cleaned, replaced, and cleared. CEL came on two days later, and threw the same codes. Replaced EGR and cleared, and it came back with the same code.
So where to go from here? Is it time for a flash update, or is there another sensor causing this sequence? I'm at a loss. Any help is greatly appreciated. |

One other thing. When I first got on the highway with it on a road trip, I would swear it read 17.5 mpg, but now runs pretty steady at 15 +. Would that indicate the fuel sensor part, and where is it. In the tank, with or part of the fuel pump? Say it ain't so.
