I'm new to the site but not new to powerstrokes or diesels..
They're saying your engine is shot, dead, dusted, poof, nixed, never going to be awesome again, killed, scrap-metal, burned, the weakest link, etc... I personally loved the "engine delete" comment btw.. HILARIOUS
BUT, running your truck without the air filter??? I'm sorry, but there is no way you thought that would be a good idea.. As for whether your engine is toast or not, I honestly don't think that it's too far gone.. It's a dang powerstroke, unless you're running it up a hill with 30,000lbs floored with a hot tune and stock exhaust, it'll be fine.. Now that the airfilter is back on.. LEAVE IT THERE

Hey, I used to run mine with no filter until I learned it really shortened the life of my spark plugs.. Its back on now.

You'll get GREAT mileage if you do the "fuel tank delete mod"! Sorry couldn't resist.

What gap are you running on your plugs? I'm run a .045 plug gap in my 6.0 powerstroke.
