The car sounds fine??? HUH?

Maintenance is always big on a diesel, keep the fuel filters serviced regularly.

What mileage are you getting and what do you expect out of your truck?

I'm getting 16-17 and I think that's great for a heavy arse truck.

Part of the reason your mileage went to chit is because the MAF is more than likely filthy now. pick up a can of CRC maf cleaner and clean it

I wouldnt worry about mileage at the point. Im sure your turbo and engine is already dusted.

You seriously took off your air filter? I would go back hand the idiot that told you to do that. He must really not like you to give you such terrible advice..
