P0261 code

ok, i dont know if i have a problem or not. recently the CEL came on. i have a sct livewire so i looked on there to get the codes and they are p0261, p0264, p0267, p0270, p0273, p0276, p0279, p0282- injector circuit low for all 8 cyl. ive researched these codes on the forum and everyone says the ficm is going out and to replace it. but heres the catch... nothing is wrong with the truck. it starts fine cold and warm, gas mileage is the same, idles fine.. runs prefect. when the cel comes on i sometimes clear the code with the sct and it eventually comes back on but it takes a while.

one thing i have to add is that i put a smoke switch on a little over a month ago. i cut one of the wires going to the vgt pn the turbo and put a switch between it and ran it to the cab. sometimes when id flip the switch to cut off the turbo the CEL light would come on and it would have the same codes im having now. i decided to take the smoke switch out thinking that it was what was causing the codes and now that its been out for a few weeks im still having the same codes. any ideas?

Whats the point of a "smoke switch"? Its probably a coincidence, usually the VGT will set a p0046 or something of those lines. Im guessing you live somewhere warm, if the vehicle was in a cold climate you would be having starting issues with those FICM codes.

Replace your FICM before your truck does eventually leave you stranded somewhere.

Listen to m-chan or you will be stranded like I was. You will experience no symptoms until it is to late.

ok. see thats what i was confused about. i looked up the codes on this site and everyone said they had problems with it not starting and not running right. but mine runs perfectly fine... i havnt seen anyone post on here that they are throwing all these codes with the motor running properly like mine is???

My truck was running perfectly. I parked it for the night, woke up to go hunting and the truck wouldnt start.

i know this is a late responce but what would you do if only one cylinder injector circuit is low...my cel came on saying only cylinder 1? but i have no symptoms either....sometimes my cel is on and itll shut off for a few days and come back on for a day and then go off again?
