Vehicle- 2003 Ford Excursion 6.0L Powerstroke- 145,000 miles
The P0405 code (EGR Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor A Circuit Low) is on constantly. When cleared it appears again.
I checked the voltage at the EGR harness/connector with koeo. 'Don't remember what the figure was.
The EGR valve was removed and cleaned thinking that might be the problem. No success.
Engine runs fine- no "low power" problems.
You fellas have any idea what I should do to fix this? I don't want to throw money at the problem without being sure the EGR valve is broken.
Thanks,
Craig
