140 K Miles and now... code madness!

Well, after 5 1/2 years of real "Super Duty" my trusty 2004 6.0 has some issues.

2 days after making the final payment to the bank (Yeah I know, that was my first mistake), I got the dreaded Check engine symbol lighting up.

Here are the Codes I downloaded:

P0611 Fuel Injector Control Module Performance

P0500 Vehicle Speed Sensor?

P0261, P0264, P0267, P0270, P0273, P0276, P0279, P0282 All 8 Injector Circuits showing low.

Ideas.... and no, replacing the truck is not an option!

Joe

I think the 6.0s had a problem with the FICMs. The codes for the injectors, I bet, is just cause of the FICM problem.
Right anyone?

Your FICM is gone. This is something that you cant really do either since Ford has to program it.

Thanks, just wanted to confirm my fears. I'm taking it in to my Diesel Guy tomorrow, confirmed your diagnosis and has the needed equipment to reprogram the control.
