140 K Miles and now... code madness!
Well, after 5 1/2 years of real "Super Duty" my trusty 2004 6.0 has some issues.
2 days after making the final payment to the bank (Yeah I know, that was my first mistake), I got the dreaded Check engine symbol lighting up. Here are the Codes I downloaded: P0611 Fuel Injector Control Module Performance P0500 Vehicle Speed Sensor? P0261, P0264, P0267, P0270, P0273, P0276, P0279, P0282 All 8 Injector Circuits showing low. Ideas.... and no, replacing the truck is not an option! Joe |

I think the 6.0s had a problem with the FICMs. The codes for the injectors, I bet, is just cause of the FICM problem.
Right anyone?

Same thing happened to mine same codes, They changed the FICM. My truck would try to start then it would die, I was getting all these codes prior to it dieing,P0261, P0264, P0267, P0270, P0273, P0276, P0279, P0282 All 8 Injector Circuits showing low. After the FICM was changed then the truck ran fine and no more codes.

Your FICM is gone. This is something that you cant really do either since Ford has to program it.
