Belt noise TSB???
Took my pickup in for scheduled maintenance at 12k miles yesterday, and I mentioned that I had been having some belt noise for last 2-3k miles. Guy says they will look into it. Got a call last evening, and the guy says maintenance complete, but nobody could hear the belt noise I was describing. I told him that's funny since the person who took the truck from me commented on the noise. Then he says when they looked into it they found a TSB on it. He was not forthcoming about the details, but he asked if he could keep the truck overnight and have "an engineer from Ford look at it in the morning." I told him yes, I didn't need the truck right away, and I said I'd be by the garage in the morning to check with them. I'll be on my way there soon, and wonder if anyone here has heard about a belt noise TSB?

Belt noise TSB???
I have not heard of a TSB, but I also have this belt noise on my 2006 F250 with 10000 miles. I first noticed it with about 2000 miles. The dealer has never been able to find a problem. Let us know what they say. I would love to get mine fixed.

Results of belt noise...
Picked up the truck yesterday, and things are fine so far. The "engineer from Ford" had come and gone, so I could not talk to him. Instead on my invoice it says they replaced the power steering pump and "shimmed" the idler pulley. No one at the service desk could tell me whether "the engineer" actually found anything wrong with the components. So far no more belt noise.
