For future reference, junk on the sceen does not mean that the HPOP is bad. The debris on the IPR usually gets there when the fine mesh filter under the oil cooler gets ripped, which is usually the case 100% of the time when I pull out coolers. That reservoir under the cooler is what feeds the HPOP, so sometimes that junk on the IPR is either dirt that was knocked into the reservoir on a previous repair, or a peice of that sceen itself under the Oil Cooler. Usually you just replace the IPR and thats all you need to do. Although, if that screen under the oil cooler is ripped, it will probably happen again.

Well, there is a special socket you can get from most of the tool trucks. You can either remove the FICM and go at it that way, or remove the turbo. Removing the turbo is more work, but makes removing the IPR easier. If you remove the turbo, then you can just stick a big wrench on the IPR. You need the socket to go in with the turbo still installed.
