Hard Starts

2005 F-250 6.0 diesel, hard to start, runs rough until warms up. I have to use ether to start it, and then it runs rough for 5 minutes or so, with black smoke, then smooths out. I think I am alos dealing with a clogged or bad injector. I have tried several additives to clean injector, they work for a while and then it starts running rough again.Help ?

Ether is gonna kill it... don't use ether... ever. If you absolutely must use something to assist it, use Brakleen or some other non-chlorinated parts cleaner.
