05 coolant in oil

Is there any 100% way to tell if it just a blown egr cooler or if its HGs. Any other signs or symptoms to tell? Thanks

Well 1st off the oil and coolant will not mix in the 6.0 the oil can mix in the coolant tho if the egr cooler fails the oil goes in to the coolant bottle ..if you have to fill up the coolant every other day I would say HG But Pay ford the 70 bucks to find out the problem its worth it.. if you keep driving the truck you could cause more dmg. My Egr cooler went out 700 bucks + parts ..truck came out still had a problem went back in for HG 4.5k

Looks to me like the cooler could def push coolant into the oil?? But it doesnt look like theres oil in the coolant. Any ideas?? anybody
