2004 4x4 lariat have a lot of play in wheel when moving, but sometimes when parked cant turn the wheel. driveside tire outer edge wearing and passenger side inner side wearing. is this a repair i can my self

This is an engine problem?

FYI, it's normal to not be able to turn the wheel when the brakes are firmly applied.

Check all of your suspension components for something broken, worn out, or otherwise not the way it should be. Replace the bad parts (if any) and have it professionally aligned.
