Which Injector to buy

I need to replace the number 8 injector. There is a lot of discussion about different kinds of injectors. Which injector should I buy, and do you guys have any suggestions on where to buy. I have seen many rebuilders on ebay, but an weary of getting a crap injector. Thanks.

if they are stock, look for units from Alliant power. They reman the units for Ford.

yes, alliant is good, or you can get one from ford..just stay away from PIS

Anyone heard of Pensacola Diesel, Inc? They have great prices on rebuild injectors for the 6.0L.

Thanks for the heads up about PIS. There seem to be two different types of injectors, 2004.5 and up and 03 to 2004.5. Does it matter which injectors I buy?

I would think so, especially since you are only replacing one of them.
