bought truck and found out warranty has been red flagged HELP

i have a 2005 f-350 with 140,000 km so still has 20,000 km warranty. i have had an engine issue which was my egr.i called my local ford dealer to double check my waranty was good since i purchased the truck a little over a month ago. i called ford and they told me my truck had been red flagged at another dealer. but thats all the info i was given. what does this mean for me? is my waranty void? and how can i get the red flag removed?

Yeah looks like your on your own from here. Once they void or red flag it they are very caustious to work on it. If there are recalls even. They have to call in before doing recalls. I tried doing even seat belt recalls on cars that were red flagged and most got denied.

not your problem, you just purchased it and unless someone warned you about the problem how were you going to know, esp if you did your due diligence before purchase.

Private or dealer sale? Either way, you may have recourse.
