egr delete question

I have deleted the egr cooler and plugged the intake per the write up in the
forum, cleaned the turbo while out, its back together and running/ but no power ,engine light on, code2262, the egr has not been turned off at this point, could that be causing the no power problem and code ? is there any way to turn off the egr without a tuner? also there is some times a bad sounding noise maybe at the turbo, i read that if the egr is not turned off
the turbo would not work right, when driving it takes a long time to get up speed then shifts hard and then it seems like it wants to go, any thoughts
would be greatly appreciated thanks

unplug the egr valve if you have deleted the cooler and blocked off the up pipe there should be no hot pressure and it should stay closed but depending on model it might set cel

the hardest part was getting the clamps to brake loose from the pipes the other bolts are just akward to reach , over all it wasnt to bad, just take your time, and read the turbo cleaning procedure from the diesel society link.

yes the lines at the fuel filter housing. i just did mine on monday and i have the same exact problem i'm tracking it down. i have been talking to scuffy and he is helping me out. the only difference is i don't have the same code i have a P132b. if i find out any thing that helps i will pass it on to you and maybe it can help for you. if you find any thing you think you could pass it on to me would be greatly apprciated.
