unknown code

hey all drove truck the other day and shut it off for about 10 minutes went to start it and all it did was crank, no start it did this twice in a row. third time it started fine. checked for codes and p2291 came up as a unknown code been starting fine since. 2005 psd anyone get unknown codes befofe

What year is the truck. I am finding different answer depending on whether its a 6.0 or a 6.4?

Sounds like another STC fitting is about to fail completely and leave you stranded until the engine cools down.
