CEL and codes after new exhaust

I recently installed a new turbo-back exhaust system and noticed my CEL was on. I ran the codes and came up with P1509, P0113, P0118, and P1298(pending). These codes are as follows

P1509 - Idle control system short circuit
P0113 - IAT sensor circuit high input
P0118 - ECT sensor circuit high input
P1298 - IDM failure

The truck runs absolutely fine as far as I can tell. No sputters or surges or anything that I have noticed. I have searched extensively and found nothing. Has anyone heard of this or had it happen to them?

The truck is an '03, I've had it since april '09, currently 81,xxx miles, and the only code I've had come up since I've had the truck was p0404, an egr code.

I did not disconnect the batteries when I did the install. So I should erase them with the scan tool and dissconnect the batteries? Also, just a hypothetical question, if one were to replace the up-pipe and cap the cooler, could this cause these same codes?

not on an 03. if you block the cooler on 05 and newer, then EGR "insufficient" flow code will set. Yeah just clear codes and drive and see if they come back.

Well I finally got around to disconnecting the batteries. CEL is off now and the scantool pulled no codes. I haven't gone on a long drive yet, but I let it warm up to operating temp. and took a 20 min. spin. Problems aside, the silverline duals sound great and I'm going to sleep better at night knowing my egr system is not going to be a problem anymore.

Glad you got the issues lined out.

I like the cool duals.

I'm considering this set up on my truck.
