Have you thought about dropping the tank. Inspecting the pick up assembly. There is a fuel sock on it that maybe clogged.

What is your fuel pressure.

Where you located in Michigan. If you are close by I can give you a hand.

That would be up by the engine. Which if he is checking fuel pressure after that then that could be giving a false reading.

But the fuel pump only puts out around 40psi anyways.

You are 1.5 hours north of me.

Ok when you dropped the tank did you check the fuel sock in the tank. Did you clean the mixing chamber out that is in the tank.

Inside the tank on the pick up assembly. There is a fuel sock on the bottom of the pick up. Then about 8 inches up from that is a white canister. In that white canister is two fuel screens. They can and will get clogged up.

Also the fuel pick up is known for allowing the pump to suck air.

Now where are you checking fuel pressure at. Are you checking it at the pump some how. Or are you checking it from the shrader valve.

where are you checking fuel pressure at? Also to emlinate the tank, you could just use another container and plumb a pickup line into the HFCM. Then check pressure. Should be 56 psi at idle. Will the truck not start?
