cooling fan not disengaging

i posted this in the wrong place earlier i think. anyway my 04 6.0 cooling fan will not shut off when engine is up to operating temp. all guages indicate normal temps oil pressure good. no oil or coolant leaks. have studs with egr block. the fan stayed on for 70 miles yesterday but not running hot according to guage. no codes either except for insufficient flow egr. any thoughts wouldd be greatly appreciated.
