Blown intake gasket??
Would this cause the famous tea kettle whistle? I ask because i am getting headstuds and when my guy took apart the motor he said the hg's didnt look blown but the intake gasket was shot on the drivers side.

hmmm not sure all he told me was the drivers side was really bad and it was leakin pretty bad

If he can tell they're blown, then that is definately where the noise is coming from. Mine did it when you would accelerate med. to hard and when you let off you could kinda hear the pressure escape.

yea it would make the noise when I was at a steady speed and barely pressed the gas to go faster? but i cant wait to get it back
