I have a 2003 F250 6.0, i have added a K&N airfiliter and modified the air box, also have added Hyper tech programmer III. Iget about 20 mpg my problem is when i try to pass someone and give it gas the rpm goes to about 3000 but the truck does not respond as it should i here the turbobut not muck ppick up also if i stay on the gas it would start to smoke at the pipe when i let off the smoke clears and the truck runs great any ideas?

I think your problem is in your programmer
I use to have a Hypertec but I up gradded to a SuperChip custom,
excal.2 Its a custom tune by JMS there in Lucedale Ms.

My truck use to just blow the black smoke but I have put an airraid intake and magnaflow 4" stainless exaust and it dont smoke like it use to. but the power is still there. Well I hope I have helped you out some , go to that site and see what JMS has to offer you will have to have the stratagy out of your truck before they can make you a custom tune. Trust me you will love the differance.
