Oil in Coolant, Coolant in oil?
I have an '04 F-350 with an '03 PSD. My cooling fan has been running a lot more than usual lately. I though maybe EGR cooler, I unplugged my EGR with no changes. Also when the fan starts running, I loose about 50% or more of the power. I noticed my coolant looked black so I took about 10cc out to see it better and it looks like there is oil in it. It also smells like chared wood. I checked my oil on the dipstick, the oil level was higher than it was last time I checked it and it looked very thin and much clearer than it should. My temp gauge has been normal, no warning lights and it's not throwing codes. If my oil cooler is gone would that allow my coolant and oil to mix together? If it is oil in my coolant and coolant in my oil, how f***ed am I? Any help would be great. Thanks.

my 04 early build (03 motor)70,xxx miles was doing the same thing. This past weekend we tore into it. the oil cooler was clogged, the right head gasket was blown between the bore and water jacket, the egr cooler was leaking, and the icp sensor was leaking oil into the wiring harness
