Roar; then clunk on decel @ low speed

Been hunting for this for 1K or so miles. '06 6.0 ton 4x4 85K miles. After low speed driving (25 - 40) especially in town and especially if a hilly town, a low roar will appear from what seems like driveline and continue regardless of speed until I stop the truck and immediately before coming to a complete stop a loud clunk and then all is good until the next time. Just had rear drive shaft out and slip yoke lubed, u-joints checked carrier etc, all good, tight. Diff was checked within a month no metal, clean. Open to suggestions. Thanks in advance.
