2005 F250, weird noise from passenger front

All,

I'm posting this as a last resort since I have already tried troubleshooting myself to no avail, but I am getting a weird grinding popping noise coming from what sounds like right under the passenger floor board. The noise initially sounded like just a popping that occurred after going over bumps, but has now progress into both a popping sound as well as a grinding sound. It seems like the sound gets progressively worse at the truck warms up (sounds almost doesn't occur when it's cold), and after it's warm it make the noise pretty frequently. The noise seems to let off a little when I let off the gas, but doesn't go away completely. Futhermore, when I back down my driveway, it makes a really bad grinding noise when I'm on the gas.

I've changed the hub assy and did an initial inspection on the locking hub (bearing still seem smooth), and the problem still exists. I'm almost at a standstill now as I don't know what else it could be.

The seal behind the hub assy had a little slop in it, could it be this? Could ball joints cause this grinding sound? Man this is pissing me off...haha

Anyway, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Brian
