Popping out of 4 low

When I shift the lever to 4wd low it will go into gear but then when shifted to drive it will pop out. If I go to reverse it stays in and if I hold it in 4wd low and shift to drive it will stay in. During the blizzard last year I rigged up the middle seat belt with a bunch to hold it in 4 low. Figured now would be a good time to look into before I need it again. Is there some sort of adjustment?
